Do you offer mobile mini golf rentals near me?

Short Game Mobile Mini Golf operates throughout Western New York, but primarily in the Buffalo metro area in Erie County. Located outside of Erie County? No problem! We can still get to your event, though an extra delivery fee will apply. See delivery FAQ below!

How far in advance should I book my portable mini golf rental?

Booking early ensures availability, especially during peak event seasons. Reserving in advance guarantees your preferred date, avoids last-minute scheduling conflicts, and gives you more time to customize your rental package.

How much is the down payment to reserve a mini golf rental?

A 50% down payment is required to book your rental and will be applied to your final invoice. The remaining balance will be processed two weeks prior to your event. The down payment is fully refundable up to one month before your event date. Cancellations made between one month and two weeks of the event date will be refunded 50% of the deposit. Cancellations made after full payment has been processed will be refunded 50% of the total rental price.

Can portable mini golf rentals be used indoors and outdoors?

Absolutely! We know winters in Western New York can be long and cold, so why not spice up your event with some indoor mini golf?! As long as you can provide a flat, level surface with enough open space for our course (and as long as we don’t get snowed in), then we’ll be there year-round!

So that being said, what happens if there’s inclement weather?

If your event is outdoors and rain is in the forecast, we recommend having an indoor backup plan, if possible. If bad weather winds up cancelling your event or making us unable to set up our course and you’d like to reschedule, then we would love to do so! If, however, you’d like a refund, we will give a full refund in the case of bad weather. In any case, contact us as soon as possible to discuss options if you think bad weather will be a factor.

Does the rental price include mini golf setup and takedown?

Yes, all mini golf rentals include full setup and takedown at no additional cost.

Is delivery included in the portable mini golf rental price?

Delivery is included within Erie County. For locations outside of Erie County, there is a $1 per mile one-way delivery fee.

Are there additional labor fees for mini golf rental setup?

Extra labor fees may apply if the setup location is more than 50 yards from the trailer, up more than one flight of stairs, or requires use of an elevator. This only applies to 6- and 9-hole course rentals.

Do I need an attendant for my portable mini golf event?

An attendant is required for events with children present or adult only events with 100 or more people at a rate of $50 per hour. This fee can be waived if you provide your own event attendant (must be 18 years or older and present at setup for instructions).

What is the minimum rental fee for long-distance mini golf rentals?

For rentals over 50 miles from our headquarters in Orchard Park, NY, a minimum rental of $800 applies for 6-hole course rental and $1,000 for 9-hole course rental, excluding delivery (mileage outside of Erie Co). For over 100 miles, a $1,000 minimum rental applies for 6-hole course rental and $1,250 for 9-hole course rental, excluding delivery. The maximum service area for rentals is 150 miles.

How long is the rental period for a mini golf rental?

All our course rental base pricing includes up to 4 hours of use, while skeeball includes up to 6 hours. Pricing will not be prorated if your event lasts less than these allotted times. Additional hours can be added at an extra cost, with rates varying by course size. Long-distance rentals require approval for extended timeframes.

Can I extend my portable mini golf rental for extra days?

Yes! Additional rental days can be added at a discounted rate of 30% off per extra day.

Does the rental price include all mini golf equipment?

Yes, each rental includes everything needed, including putters, balls, scorecards, and pencils.

What types of events are best for a portable mini golf rental?

Our 3-hole course requires approximately 10×10 feet, the 6-hole course needs about 25×25 feet, and the 9-hole course needs about 35×35 feet. We can adapt to various spaces (i.e. spreading course holes throughout an office setting) and will work with you to ensure a perfect fit.

Can the mini golf course be moved after it is set up?

For safety and structural reasons, the course must stay in the location where it was originally set up once Short Game staff has left and guests have arrived. If you need adjustments, please contact us for assistance.

Is there a limit to how many people can play at once?

There’s no strict limit, but we recommend groups of up to 4 players per hole to keep the game moving smoothly.

Do I need to provide anything for the rental?

No, we provide all the necessary equipment, including putters, balls, and course obstacles. The only requirement is a flat, level surface for setup.
